Darling Duck Egg Blue

I love duck egg blue – it’s such a wonderfully fresh and not-overused colour!

This is the perfect soft shade to tie into the pastel trend that is going on in makeup right now – so pretty and feminine.

The best way to wear pastel coloured eye shadow is to use a large fluffy brush and dust all over before liner and mascara – you want to achieve a soft focus wash of colour. Finish off with LOTS of Eye Bright Liner & as many layers of mascara as you have time for!

This shade is gorgeous on nails too – try Pop Nail Glam in Mint Magic to brighten up tips & toes!

For your own makeup station, the main thing is to have good daylight so you know what you look like once you get to work/class/etc!

Pastel art crayons – these just make me want to paint! (Not that I’m any good!)

At the very least, they’re a great inspiration for me to create some new makeup products :)
