Summer Essentials – Road Trip!

Summer is in full swing, and what better time to take a road trip?!

Since moving to America, I have learned how strangely therapeutic it can be to be out on the open road with the windows down, good music playing, and some great company…these days, that usually comes in the form of my 7-year-old son – gotta love it! :)

Wish I had a candy-coloured old-school truck like the one above…one day!

On a road trip, you want to pack light, so make sure that your makeup multitasks!

See below to find out how to stay looking lovely, even with minimal products.

FLAWLESS VITAMIN VEIL– Luxe crème-to-powder adjustable coverage foundation

-Use with sponge (included in drawer under product!) all over face for a soft-focus effect – keep sponge dry for more intense coverage, or dampen for more sheer coverage
-Apply with clean fingertip to spot-conceal & correct

SUCCULENT LIP TWIN– Perfectly portable duo of lip balm + lip & cheek crème

-Apply the balm in the tube to lips for maximum moisture
-Add a bit of the crème in the cap to lips for more concentrated colour
-Dab the crème in the cap onto cheeks & blend well for a coordinated glow

CRAYON COMBO– Double-ended, multi-use pencil for the ultimate eye enhancement

-Use matte charcoal brown end as a liner and glowing nude-tan end as a shadow
-Lightly fill in brows with either end (depending on the darkness of your own brow shade)

Last but not least, do a mani-pedi with a fun, summery shade before embarking on your road trip for a long-lasting pop of colour to the nails!
