Allure: Pixi Beauty Just Dropped an On-the-Glow Stick Version of Its Best-Selling Glow Tonic

28 March 2019

"While Pixi Beauty has a wellspring of amazing makeup and skin-care products worth trying, the brand is undoubtedly best known for its iconic Glow Tonic. That's because the glycolic acid-based toner whisks away dead skin cells buildup in seconds, leaving behind baby-soft, super-bright skin. (Hence its name.) Oh yeah, and you can nab it at Target. Over the years, it's garnered much fanfare, which ultimately persuaded Pixi to develop more products inspired by the best-seller.

Last year, Pixi launched the Rose Tonic, a game-changing solution suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. Then a retinol version of the toner. And now, the brand is introducing several new products inspired by its famous formula — including a solid stick version called On-the-Glow($18).

The product in question (which is worth mentioning is a new favorite in our skin-care editor's lineup) is a portable, moisturizing version of Glow Tonic that can be used on the face, lips, body, and even hair. Like Glow Tonic, it contains glycolic acid, which works to gently exfoliate and make skin appear smooth and glowy. Additionally, it features the antioxidant-packed vitamin D2, skin-balancing ginseng, and hydrators like castor seed oil and glycerin. Whether you travel often or are constantly on the move, it's a foolproof multi-use product to have in your handbag at all times.

The newness doesn't stop there. Pixi also dropped its Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel ($18), Glow Tonic Serum ($24), and its Glow Glycolic Boost Sheet Mask ($10), all of which were made with the original Glow Tonic in mind.

Each of the aforementioned products contains — you guessed it — glycolic acid to aid in gentle exfoliation, as well as a blend of nourishing agents like cucumber fruit extract (in the serum), aloe vera, witch hazel, and glycerin (all present in the cleanser).

In typical Pixi form, none of the products will set you back more than $30, which is pretty damn great considering Glow Tonic's legendary status (I mean, you know it's good if beauty editors are picking it over the pricier options). Head to pixibeauty.com to shop the Glow Tonic-inspired offerings, as well as the rest of the skin-care products in its spring collection." - Allure
